Leo - have you tried pulling out the power lead and then plugging it back in. Then try turning it on?

The most frequent problems with a computer system that won't boot (or appears to fail at least):
1. Dead power supply.
2. Dead boot drive controller.
3. Dead card (video card, net card).
Super simple fixes:
Sometimes, power supplies are fused. If you have a blown fuse, you can just replace it.
Sometimes, a UPS goes down. Try another UPS and see if it boots up fine.
Sometimes, a switch gets stuck. The switch used to do the warm boot will cause start up to fail if it is jammed. Check it.
Here is the solution that I am hoping for:
Leo gets $1500 or so and buys a shiny, new, big-engined, nitro-fueled, 10,000-screaming-horsepower box. It is such a powerhouse that it becomes the first division main machine and all the previous machines move down one notch. He puts a name tag on it called "Faithful" to remember the faithful followers of WBEC who kicked in lunch money to get things back on track. Then an Israeli and Arabic program tie for the WBEC 17th championship and suddenly world tensions are reduced. Everyone puts down their arms and world peace is finally visualized (or is it 'whirled peas'?)
Or maybe we just won't have to wait as long for 5th division results.

Re: WBEC Ridderkerk edition 16 results.........
Okay. I wasn't meaning to be rude asking that. I thought I had a dead computer after a power surge. It just wouldn't turn on. Then I unplugged it, plugged it back in, turned it on and it worked. Rather embarrassing to admit, but that was why I asked.
Anyway, I hope it's worth getting repaired. If not, at least you'll be able to get a new computer with the funds that were so generously donated. It must make you feel happy to know that so many appreciate what you've done for our hobby over the years. Keep up the great work!

I was not thinking you was rude

Yes, I am happy to get so much support, I had not really expected so many people who gave a donation for WBEC

Best wishes,
Leo.
